Weiterlesen Went out to Bex for our annual post New Year dinner with the family. The restaurant is nicely decorated, its a bit small though. The entrance opens right into main section of the restaurant. Additional sitting area upstairs but I think its just inconvenient and...theres not a lot of room up there either. The service was exceptional, they were really friendly and professional. A bit surprised that they didn't announce one of the dishes before serving it. It consists of Bacardi. Just think that anything with strong alcohol should be announced. Even if its a surprise menu. The food was a bit of a disappointment, It was OK. Just OK. We took the surprise menu. And we were awed by the presentation but not the taste. Its too simple. Theres no WOW! The main dish was ok, fillet de veau, cannot even remember what the side was. The dessert was another let down, balls of dark chocolate with fruits. The chocolate was too strong, bitter. It was a course meal, somehow we left feeling hungry. The portion size was too small. Overall I would recommend this place. I would definitely return.
