Weiterlesen Wir haben beschlossen, das neue Jahr in Montreux zu verbringen und suchten nach einem besonderen Restaurant für unser Abendessen – das Bel Horizon im Eurotel erwies sich als perfekte Wahl. Unsere Erwartungen wurden voll erfüllt! Der Empfang war exzellent, der Eingang einladend und die Präsentation äußerst gelungen. Die Speisekarte bot eine köstliche und vielfältige Auswahl an Hauptgerichten: Fisch, Fleisch, Gemüse, Kartoffeln, Reis, gedämpfte Ravioli und vieles mehr. Auch die Dessertauswahl war breit gefächert und für jeden Geschmack war etwas dabei. Das Essen war hervorragend, und der Service war aufmerksam sowie sehr freundlich – ein rundum angenehmes Erlebnis im Bel Horizon!

We came here to try and accommodate teenage children who don’t like some of the fancier restaurants. We had pizzas burgers, profitetole, ice cream and tirimisu, all of which were delicious. A good find !

Weiterlesen Dormans is a rather tired looking town which is blessed an impressive imposing memorial to the dead from the various WW1 Battles of the Marne. After visiting the memorial and the nearby Chateau we walked to the market square and hoped to enjoy a relaxing lunch sitting outside at a restaurant in the square. Sadly the service was so slow and unfriendly that we left in search of somewhere else. La Lombardie saved the day. It is down a side road about 100m from the square but justifies the walk. As we entered we were welcomed with a smile, shown a table, and our order taken in a blink. There is a good choice, with pizzas figuring strongly in a range of styles. The food is freshly cooked and was very enjoyable. We had thin crusty Etna, and recommend it. In addition we enjoyed a half carafe of white at 7.60 euro and coffee to follow. Always a good sign, it was full mostly with locals. Be aware of 2 taxes added to your bill, one of 20% and one of 10%. Don't ask me why!

Das Hummus hat nicht einmal im Entferntesten mit dem echten zu tun, und die Lammkoteletts waren zu stark durchgebraten und insgesamt sehr zäh. Insgesamt, wenn ich die Möglichkeit gehabt hätte, 0 Sterne zu vergeben, hätte ich es gewählt.
