Weiterlesen St Tropez is not known as the centre of culinary excellence but last night's dinner at Au Caprice des Deux definitely defied the norm! The fillet of beef was meltingly delicious and accompanied by a superb truffle risotto, two amazing sauces, vegetables cooked to perfection and all served by an attentive and charming waiter. We were grateful that we'd arrived early and been given a table despite not having a reservation because by the time we left there was a queue outside. Definitely worth a visit...it won't be the cheapest meal you've ever eaten but worth it.

Weiterlesen Magnifique bâtiment qui abritait un ancien couvent où nous déjeunerons au lieu de l'extérieur pour le charme de l'endroit historique. Le repas était très bon, nous avons pris l'agneau et ses petits légumes et dauphinois gratin et un baba, dans le citroncello. Ce dernier était très léger. Joel, le serveur est d'une grande convivialité et serviabilité. Il nous a même fait visiter la cuisine et la salle de réception avec ses magnifiques cheminées! Quel cadre magnifique. Une très belle découverte ! N'hésitez pas !

I live in the opposite and was surprised to see a live real fun rock and roll band alla60 80’s the owner / chef is friendly and steps...out when the kitchen goes into the hand jumping and singing or they serve a shot when his house ran. this is not the flashy côte d’Azur, but real hometown fun. let her haare down and enjoy. our dinner was delicious and we went after gathering friends at the beautiful airport. they were sweet to eat at midnight. in any case a precious stone and a weekend must be music saturdays and Fridays perhaps not safe on Sunday. I'm a regular. Outdoor food and a friendly vibe compliment of this threshold value, which is also delicious!

We have eaten many times in this restaurant. This time we ordered a aioli dish with cod fish and one ravioli dish respectively 48 and 42 euros! . With this food... With this food, we ordered 3 glasses of wines at a whopping 15 euros each per glass !!! ....We found on the wine list no average prices wines under 25 euros, which is a shame the owner should look elswhere for his wines e.g. in the Loire Valley where wine bottles still are reasonable. So with wine and the food, the bill came to 135 euros. Labelled in the Michelin Red Guide and in the Gault Milault guide with prices much lower than they portray now on their chalk boards. Sorry but in this place we will not be having dinner again! I gave it a 3 point rating, but it really is worth 2.5 points!
