Weiterlesen My partner and I dined at Seed last night and I was blown away with the food and the service from Guy! We decided to do the 6 course share dinner (which was more like 10 courses! And started with a lovely bottle of Pinot Noir from Mornington Peninsula (we are locals so opted for something from elsewhere, also the wine list is massive and amazing. We ate our way through three amazing snacks, then 3 unbelievable entrees. The most delicious was the squid ink pasta with blue swimmer crab. Then the mains came out and my goodness it was the best piece of pork I have ever eaten! Cooked over flame a beautiful, smokey and tender meat with a satsuma plum sauce. By dessert we were so full and decided to get just the cheese but when it came out Guy also bought us the chocolate tart. This was a blessing as I tried a bite with the cherries and vanilla cream and it made my knees weak. Absolute heaven on a plate. Which considering I never eat dessert was a suprise for me. The whole night was bliss and we had a lovely, romantic evening. The only downfall was when we arrived the girl who tried to seat us wasn't sure where we were meant to be and she didn't explain how the different options worked. I think she may have been new and lacked confidence and knowledge. Luckily it was quickly resurrected by Guy and the night was wonderful. Looking forward to going back in Autumn.
