Mein Mann hat mich hierher gebracht, nachdem er das Restaurant von einigen Freunden empfohlen bekommen hatte. Wir suchten gutes Schweizer Essen und waren gerade... Weiterlesen Mein Mann hat mich hierher gebracht, nachdem er das Restaurant von einigen Freunden empfohlen bekommen hatte. Wir suchten gutes Schweizer Essen und waren gerade aus einem weiteren ländlichen Lokal geflohen, in dem leere Tische standen und ältere Herren uns misstrauisch vom Stammtisch aus musterten. Umso erfreuter waren wir, im Restaurant Obergass zu landen, das traditionell, aber sehr gepflegt ist und eine angenehme Mischung eher fröhlicher Gäste bietet. Das Essen ist nicht zu schwer, und der geröstete Gemüsesalat ist einfach himmlisch. Das Servicepersonal ist professionell und zugleich freundlich. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Weiterlesen Personal und Atmosphäre sind großartig. Die Bierauswahl ist riesig, aber leider habe ich kein glutenfreies Bier gefunden. Mir wurde gesagt, dass der Frittierprozess nicht glutenfrei ist. Sie servieren frittierte Fischfilets im Bierteig, daher sind auch die Pommes für Zöliakie-Patienten nicht sicher. Mit meinem Wein und den BBQ-Schweinerippchen war ich jedoch sehr zufrieden. Tolle Location, es gibt ein paar Pferde im Hof und direkt in der Nähe verläuft ein Weg, auf dem Leute joggen und Fahrrad fahren. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

On one occasion we were meeting up with relatives and were able to relax and chat for a few hours, with...just a glass of wine each: we appreciated that we were only asked once if we wished to have anything more. Staff here are outstanding.
