Thai Bite - Shepperton

Oh dear. This was very disappointing. Previously I've thought the food good, but this time no. Had creamy but incredibly bland beef penang. So I looked up recipes to see what might have been missing. 1) not much in the way of garlic 2) NO chopped chillies and no heat 3) NO chopped shallot/onion As for other spices etc I did come across a couple of lime leaves but not much taste of anything else. We visited the Thai Bite for the first time tonight to order a take away. We ordered Chicken Satay, Beef Massoman and Chicken Penang with Coconut Rice. Every single bite of this food was delicious! Flavoursome, authentic and plentiful. It is the first time we have used this restaurant and can't wait to return. An absolute gem on Shepeprton High Street. Food: 5
