Restaurant bewertenWould rate higher than many full-on restaurants for quality of food and enthusiastic young people seeking to impress. Hard to believe those dishes [great confit of duck] were from a training restaurant.
It's been 2 years since I have been here, food was always of high quality, not this time. Service very slow, I know this is a training college and we are served by students. I had beef stroganoff, it reminded me of the mass produce food one would find at 'all you can eat' . Maybe it was a bad day for students, also bought some bread from their shop, look good taste not good, threw it in the bin .
Attended Tiros at Regency Park TAFE for lunch. We were served by delightful young people learning their trade and served an excellent meal. The Menu was short but included most things to peoples tastes along with the choice of two deserts.Drinks list was quite extensive and very reasonably priced.A very nice place for Lunch.
Was expecting a fine dining experience with highly trained staff at the waiting. This was not the case. The food was ok , but again I was expecting higher quality. the waiting staff were bumbling and stumbling somewhat lacking the lustre that again I was expecting. My suggestion for anyone wanting to try this experience, lower your expectations and you probably won't be Dissapointed. It is not a heap night out which again lead me to believe it was to be a special experience. My suggestion for those attending have the wine option, because if you are let down by the experience and the food you won't be with the wine.....
If anyone's in the Regency Park area on a weekday at lunch or dinnertime, I recommend Tiros training restaurant at TAFE. The food was fantastic, and the price was very reasonable. The service was good, but could have been better.
