Cafe 22 - Proserpine

This place is recommended by the locals. Eclectic atmoshere, old world feel. Delicious food, smoothies and coffee.

Travelled a thousand kilometres and looked forward to morning coffee at Cafe 22 where we stopped last year. No friendly smiles from staff. Girl who took the order may have lost her best friend. Pile of scones looked fresh. Ordered 2 at $3 each to have with the coffee. So disappointed. scones not fresh and they were actually tough even after a quick heat up.Told the serving person but no one came out to apologise or comment. Coffee was good but won't go back.

We stopped briefly for lunch and the meals were tasty and good value. If I visit Proserpine again I know where to get a decent meal

Lovely stop off for a cuppa and something 'naughty' if you wish. Resisted the temptation of the cakes which looked amazing and stuck to a healthy wrap...which was truly delicious. The staff are so friendly. A very pleasurable break from shopping.

Apart fro air conditioning when it is so hot outside this cafe was a wonderful find in Proserpine, my daughter husband and I frequented it quite a bit during October and November 2016 we loved the variety of meals and the quality of the food above average in a country town. If your into fresh food juices salads this is the place to go!
