The Running Pump - Preston

Today, we celebrated our daughter's baptism at The Running Pump, and it was an absolutely perfect day. We enjoyed a buffet featuring freshly made dishes with plenty of options, and the staff promptly replenished the food as it ran low. Everything was taken care of beautifully. I would highly recommend this place if you’re considering a buffet for a special occasion. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful day. We dined there yesterday evening (September 22, 2017) and it was our first visit since the pub's renovation. The cozy country atmosphere was enhanced by the fantastic meal my wife and I enjoyed. I opted for the gay duo while my wife chose the fish of the day, which was a trout fillet. Both dishes were skillfully cooked and beautifully presented for our enjoyment. Overall, we had excellent food and lovely cask beer.

Dining at the Running Pump is a delightful experience! The steak and ale pie is fresh and delicious, complemented by vibrant vegetables and crispy chips, making it my current favorite. I can't wait to return and try the goat's beet risotto next! The staff is friendly, and they even serve small bottles of Prosecco, which is a nice bonus!

For the first time with a party of seven. everything was nice, eating was exceptionally good; fresh and well presented. there was a good choice of behave and weapons that fit everyone and the service was first to advise without being on any wise obtrusive.

I cannot rate the Running Pump Highly enough. We had the pleasure of holding a surprise birthday meal for my partner here on 15/7/17. The food was absolutely wonderful. The service we received was second to non. Very friendly and had the perfect balance of always being attentive but without being in your face. They even set up a decoy table for when we arrived so as not to spoil the surprise. PERFECT! Thank you very much :
