Restaurant bewertenWhat an adorable dive diner! It's a gem, we had fish cakes, chowder and French onion soup and it was very satisfying.
For a pub.... There food is spectacular. It's different then you would expect but this place shouldn't be overlooked.
A pleasant surprise, doesn't look like much from outside. Had the the seafood platter, it was great! Others with me had burgers and said it was great.
We ordered the "signature" French Onion soup. It was very good. However, it took a very long time to arrive. The restaurant/bar is very dimly lit, which is probably a good thing. The waitress is friendly and apologized about the new cook who is slow in his prep.Recommend this for adventurous young couples. The bathrooms are up one step so not for those with limited mobility or wheelchairs. The other patrons on the night we we there was a family group with an infant. The mother had to go out to her car to change the baby.
My wife and I dropped in on rainy day for soup. Not impressed by ambiance but held on based on reviews. Soup, pea and onion indeed good and served warm. Burger special not so special as pattie had consistency of premade. Server was great but space was a dark hole and as stated, outside would not draw the average person in. Would not make a visit based on the other reviews must be better spots in Gander
