Restaurant bewertenMy family and I stayed while traveling. The dining atmosphere is minimal and picturesque. Waiting time for our food was as expected. The pack I had was delicious! Not sure if the waitress was liquid, but she didn't seem to have time for us. Note: There is no change table in the toilet.
Calm down. Server needed a little to come, but was nice professional. The Chicken Club ordered Jamaican Jerk Salad. Chicken Club was dry even though it said it was marinated. One inch of both ends of the Bacon strips were burned. I asked for the first to come out. And they did. The Pommes were the best. Excellent. Jamaican Jerk was a bit on the mild side. Definitely not like real Jamaican Jerk, but a good attempt. The Jamaican Jerk chicken seemed amazed. It was tenderly drunk. The flavors could have been a bit more fat. 309 Bistro is a pretty little place. We hit the crowd. I imagine that so many visits are partly due to lack of decent decisions. Still, a good place to eat. But would definitely try other items in the menu. I bet some are excellent. We'll visit each other again.
We got here and we?re sitter quite promptly ordered with 10 minutes, but something happened when the it was placed and someone lost the ticket. It took about an hour and being almost mean to get the food served. So, 3 beers and about 6 iced teas later, food came out. I was ready to give the bistro a 1 star. Task ring the food compensated for all the misery of the long wait. When you have one of this aha moments when you can?t stop saying. Hmm, mhmmm, mhmmm and finding rich hidden layered flavors in the food. A for food It?s worth the wait is as much I can say.
While visiting Edenton, NC my wife and I stopped into 309 Bistro. What a great find! We both had wonderful meals. I had the shrimp poboy and my wife had the 'kids ' grilled cheese along with the mushroom spinache soup of the day. Both were delicious. The staff and restaurant were observing COVID-19 safety precautions and the staff and those not eating were masked. If you 're visiting or just passing through Edenton, this should definitely be one of your stops.
Good option if you go with group of family or friends that are not vegan. Portobello elements in the menu. Lunch has chickpeas pack. Updated by previous review on 2021-12-12
