William Frachot - Dijon

Amazing experience. Our table enjoyed the 5-course menu. The service was impeccable. We were pretty early and tired to walk around all day and had cocktails in the bar until they opened. They brought us our Musée to the bar and then we moved to the dining room. We were sitting in half a private area. It was really a wonderful culinary experience.

This is a very nice restaurant! The staff is attentive, food is great, atmosphere is relaxing. The experience is impeccable.

A real highlight of our visit to Dijon. My daughter and I had a very special evening (her first experience with haute cuisine). Inventive, sometimes whimsical menu with flawless execution (produce, flavours, presentation). Wine pairing was of a high standard and generous. Excellent and perceptive service that read us both and dialled in just the right balance of formality, familiarity and humour. Perfect pacing and inspired suggestion of a cleansing local craft beer before the desert courses.

Excellent sampler of local food elevated with transformation and presentation to the form of art. My American teen said this was the best meat he ever ate (no kidding) faisant and venison. We took tasting menus and it was spectacular throughout. This is my 3rd 2 star Michelin restaurant in the past 2 visits and it's correctly placed at that level. Takes 2 hours to do the meal though, so be ready to sit for awhile. And, as a tourist, expect that waiters won't work so hard to explain all the details they tell locals (meme si je parle Francais courrament a eux).

Famous restaurant in Dijon. We had cheapest 4 course menu called Emotions. Some of the dishes were fantastic, but some were not good at all. Probably the worst was its service. We were having pre dinner drinks in their bar, no one came to take us to the dining room, we were just left there. Also in the middle of the service, sommelier disappeared and a waiter took over his place. We felt neglected, and shouldn't feel that way in a 2 Michelin starred restaurant.
