Whet - Cape Tribulation

The food is outstanding- everything is good. Extensive vegetarian and vegan menu as well. If you can try the desserts.

The staff here are super warm and welcoming. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch. In particular the tuna nicoise salad. The wine list is limited but covers all the basic requirements. Great day driving through the most beautiful daintree.

Our waitress was shocking ,she was more interested in serving / talking to locals at the bar. other tables were served by an english girl and she seemed much better and was doing her job well. food was average. we were told the fries here were great ( the menu says Parmesan fries) we ordered them based on this recommendation and we were given a bowl of plain fries with tomato sauce . nothing to write home about ! the rest of our food was average. sadly not many options for nice restaurants out here .....we were hoping for much more :/

Highly recommended for some curry and of course other choices- great scenery, staff and food quality- in a casual environment.

In the same area of ​​Cape tribulation there are better ones. The service a little slow. The dishes nothing special. Indeed with somewhat questionable variants. We haven't tasted the desserts which seem to be the highlight. Australian prices
