Cafe Longshot - Beecroft

An energetic little cafe near the train station in Beecroft with a tasty looking menu.

Don't be deterred by the coffee queue lined up outside, it is a good sign. However, agility is an advantage in securing a table as you need to order before taking a seat (unless you are with trusted friends who will secure your seat while you order for them!) Poached eggs, bacon, Turkish bread toast and tea - Brunch is served!!

Passing through Sydney after a busy weekend in Newcastle. Kids had been eating junk food all weekend and we wanted a good quality lunch for us and the kids. This place is a hidden gem, food was top quality, though you get what you pay...for these days. Yes it’s a little pricey than the average maccas yet well worth the 6 mins off the highway for good quality food. There is outdoor seating which is nice. Though inside is better. We have a daughter named Hannah who we were served by a Hannah who was lovely with the kids (3&5) whilst the cafe is on Hannah st. Definitely go there and give it a go instead of fast food chains

I often eat here with friends for a quick lunch mid week and we can usually get a table outside (under cover) where it's quieter. Consistently good coffee. Food is usually tasty and of reasonable cost. There's a choice of inexpensive light bites like pre made wraps,...toasted sandwiches or speciality breads like sour cherry or blueberry pear, all day breakfast offerings through to burgers or meal sized salads. Chicken wrap of the day is a good bet, or Fruit Nut Bread with mixed berry jam maple cinnamon ricotta if I want something sweeter. Service is efficient friendly, order at counter take a number to your table and soon the staff bring everything to the table, which is usually clean. New local owners of late 2017 have been able to retain the reputation and the clientele of this great café well done!

There's a thing I'm looking for with a caffe. it may sound, I want the meal, the service to be consistent. without surprise. at longshot I know that eating is always great and the coffee is above average, and they serve one. Yesterday it was like before.
