My husband loves Southern style food and this restaurant fits the bill. Recently he enjoyed a fried catfish and oysterplatter with red beans and rice and collard greens. I ordered what they call a not so much dinner...a smaller portion and verynicely priced. They serve a good trout which I got blackened with the red beans and rice. Just enough. This popular spot isalways crowded so check online for hours. Consistently great service, meals served promptly and hot. Maggie 's Galley is thatkind of reliable and doesn 't break the bank.

I put my name on the list to wait for a regular table as 4 of us had been there once before sat at the hibachi table but there was over an hour wait. Once seated I told the waiter it was my daughter?sbirthday he nodded that he understood. He never said what, if anything, they do for birthdays. To start our meal we ordered 3sushi rolls for the table as you see in the photo. I?m not sure why but not one of the sushi pieces could be picked up withoutit falling apart! Very disappointed in that. The rice wasn?t sticky was our guess. We all ordered different types of hibachi Irequested ?broccoli only, well done? which it wasn?t I sent it back but when it was brought back to the table it was still notcooked the way I wanted it so I just didn?t eat it. This experience was a far cry from our first experience sadly, I?m notsure if we?ll return as there doesn?t appear to be consistency.

Weiterlesen I literally just left here and had to stop to right a review! We’ve been a few places and have not felt as welcomed and valued as we did here. Kevin was AWESOME, providing us with good service, humor and answered our questions about the menu. I was asking about the Pineapple Upside Down Panacakes which he hasn’t had and was honest about it- but then Jessica (who was not our server) popped in and said “GET IT.” Boy was she right and my husband even liked them which shocked me! These were by far the BEST pancakes I’ve ever had! My husband got a breakfast that had some of everything and he said “this is the best breakfast he’s had in a long time” the portions are large and its a very fair price for all the food you get. Couple that with how amazing the food and service was, and you’ll leave there feeling like you got a real deal! We will return on our next visit! Ty Kevin and Jessica for your wonderful service!
