Weiterlesen Was so looking forward to trying this place, I've heard so many good things but unfortunately my first attempt left a bad taste...not literally... I attempted to make a reservation for my birthday well over a week before through email and never heard back. Was a little worried I didn't hear back but know they're a bit old school so thought maybe it didn't matter but still wanted to be sure, so I tried giving a call. No answer but the voicemail said to leave your name, number in your party and ideal time, so I did so. Still never heard back so I figured this just must be how it is and was hoping for the best. On the day of my birthday I walked in and was turned away and made feel stupid because I never got a confirmation email. I tried to explain that I had attempted to make a reservation a couple different times in different ways and I felt mislead. No remorse, I honestly was very dissatisfied with the situation considering especially because it was my birthday and I had been looking forward to this so much. So long story short MAKE SURE YOU GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WHEN MAKING A RESERVATION, because I sure had no idea and wish I had. Even after all of this hoopla, I want to try again in the future. Hopefully will have a better experience. I'll update my review accordingly.

Food is made fresh. My mom picked up our food and said she can hear them making the food fresh! Very happy and pleased with my order

We thought we'd give him a second chance because maybe the first time was a night. We came and said it was 10-15 minutes. When viewing, there were 12 tables that were not cleaned up and there was a stack of dirty dishes behind the bar. There was a female bartender. We ordered a diet coke and a vodka soda specialist queso and was not asked how my vodka preference – strange. Diet Koks was watered down and glass was not full – strange. Bartender left the bar for over 20 minutes with 6 people. We were never asked to refill our glasses. The bathrooms were dirty – paper on the whole floor, no TP, etc. After we had waited 35 minutes, we never left the Queso... We will not be back and there are so many bad reviews of this place and nothing has been done to improve service and cleanliness.

The only change I would make is to use a buttermilk based breading on the chicken-fried steak to take it up to the next level.
