Weiterlesen Today was a sunny Sunday and since lockdown 's over, I finally decided to go out and treat myself after weeks of being quarantined at home. Went to La Defense and decided to try this place which I 've never tried before (I 've been in France for more than 14 years and I speak fluent French . The first waiter(an Indian looking guy that greeted me, showed me to my seat and took my order was courteous and welcoming. Unfortunately, his colleague that came after (European blue-eyed guy, mid 40s came over and asked me Eating or drinking . I said, your colleague has taken my order . The waiter replied with a stern Eating or drinking! Just answer simply! . I was taken aback by that but I replied (trying to stay calm that I was having a tiramisu and a cup of cappuccino. Worst thing? I paid €12 for a tiramisu was mediocre and a cappuccino that was basically dark milk coffee with milk foam on top(by the way, this is how most French cafés make their cappuccinos, so beware! . With the arrogant service from the second waiter and lackluster cappuccino, you 're better off going to Starbucks which is just on the opposite side for a thick, foamy and almost authentic cuppa. The only thing that saved them from getting zero is the first waiter.
