The hostess, Serena was great, very professional and friendly. Our server, Deanna was wonderful and attentive. I got the classic trio. My medium steak was cooked perfectly, tender and very juicy. The shrimp was crunchy and alsocooked perfectly. I only had a little bit of each because I also got salad bar. The salad bar was impeccable and everythingtasted very fresh. I even tried the kale salad. Had to go for seconds because the kale was tender and the dressing was divine.Soup was yummy and the cheese toast delish.

Update: 8.7.22 Family went in for late lunch around 3pm. Soda fountain machine had more out of order signs than working dispensers. Felt badly for the employees... Felt badly for the employees as one young man was handling the entire front end while a young woman was handling theentire cook line. Overheard a customer speaking to the employee, bidding him a farewell. Turns out this Baja Fresh is closingpermanently tomorrow, August 8, 2022! No idea if another owner will come in and take this location over, but it seemed unlikelyfrom the conversation. Quite possible an entirely different restaurant will take the soon to be vacated space, but only timewill tell. This was really sad news as we have been coming to this location for many years. Once it had changed owners severalyears back, there was a distinct change in how the place was run. They did not keep the salsa bar filled, portions were muchsmaller, etc.. We had taken in a coupon which they gave us difficulty in honoring. Still, we feel badly that one of thehealthier restaurants in that shopping center will be gone now. Update: 8.2.22 Lots of changes . Our simple taco order was madeincorrectly with wrong protein. Several of the fountain drinks were out of order. There are no plastic utensils out anymore. Thesalsa bar has not returned although each patron is allowed three small plastic containers of salsa, which is probably enough formost people. Prices have gone up drastically though the portion was reasonable. No sliced jalapenos available anymore, or ifthey are, we came on the wrong day. Really don 't feel like the food is as tasty as it used to be. Maybe they have differentsuppliers, maybe they are cooked and spiced differently? We will go back one more time to see if this was just an off day beforewe go elsewhere, because we had had a good experience in the past with this location up until recently.

French Dip Sandwich and I asked if the au jus was in the bag, the kid said yes. Got home, no au jus. Also ordered theTurkey Avocado Sprouts with cream cheese sandwich, no avocado or cream cheese in that sandwich either. Definitely lack offocus, a little too much socializing while I waited for them to get my order ready.

I called the next day and the lady handled the situation very professionally. I went in thenext time i was in town and they remade it without making me feel uncomfortable.

I thought it would be obvious to the staff that a meatball sandwich should be toasted and hot when served but apparently it's not. I was verydisappointed with the service at this particular Deli Delicious.

My children love the children's meal with tri-tip and either Mac n cheese or potatoes. I love the vegan veggie sandwich and her cherry lime Hi-C, I know I don't know the healthiest ONE BIT, but it's so good! The workers here are friendly, informative and have treated my allergy problems so compassionate and gracious. Great job Jack's Urban Eats! Family-friendly reataurant with good portion sizes and excellent flavors.
