Weiterlesen This place was recommended by an acquaintance and I am glad we stopped in for a quick bite. My fried haddock dinner was fresh and perfectly prepared. I love straw fries and these were tasty and crispy. My husband ordered a burger and said it was cooked to order and he also enjoyed his mashed potatoes w/ gravy and homemade coleslaw. We ordered their appetizer of fries w/ gravy and cheese and it was excellent.

And their mango chutney is what I usually use on the number 10 sandwich for my salad dressing. Healthy, tasty, fresh food at a very reasonable price. Love it.

My son's LoMein was actually rice noodles and was more of a curry. It tasted ok but was not chicken lomein. My husband's orange chicken was cold and consisted of 2 cut up fried chicken patties in a watery tasteless sauce. Last time he ordered the Drunken Noodles and commented that they tasted ok but weirdly smelled like urinal cake. I personally recommend the Sushi options. They have been fresh, beautiful, and delicious.

There are vegetarian and vegan options and you can add and subtract specific ingredients, but the drinks are unsweetened and not great. Paying with cash looks like it might be inconvenient, but otherwise the ordering kiosks are handy. It's definitely a novelty to try at least once.

We were staying at the Sheraton Vancouver airport hotel and it is an easy walk from there to the Ackroyd location just a few blocks in a sea of Asian restaurants. We had great service and the food was excellent, as well. They offer a happy hour menu from 3 to 6 and we ordered a couple of things from there onion rings and a chicken quesadilla. This place has a diner vibe but more upscale and very reasonably prices for the high quality food and large portions too. They have bottomless French fries! We liked it so much we went back for a late breakfast the next day. The food and service was just as good for breakfast! 10/10 would recommend!
