Nach ca 20 min Wartezeit ohne bedient zu werden, sind wir wieder gegangen. Kein: „Ich komme gleich“ oder „Ein Moment bitte!“. Wir wurden einfach nur ignoriert. Das Café war nicht voll. Schade. Das Ambiente ist echt schön dort.

The staff are all incredibly hospitable and cool plus really quick I'm hardly ever in there more than 5mins, 10min with a queue. Being vegetarian, I love the bean paste stuff they have and they never cheap out on anything you'd like added. Guacamole is free on the vege burritos/chikitos too. I can never usually finish a whole burrito in one sitting. If you work/study/live in Leederville, definitely check this place out and be sure to get a stamp card! You'll need it! Weiterlesen Being almost novices when it comes to Dim Sum dining, my wife and I had had a few issues on our visit to Yum Cha House. Firstly, there is an a la carte menu and diners are free to order from this. However, upon being...seated a slip with Emma 's Dim Sum Restaurant is placed on the table. A little confusing! Wouldn 't be an idea to ask diners if they wanted dim sum or a la carte when they arrive? I realise that one can combine the two but this isn 't explained. We started with a very acceptable Chinese tea and then proceeded to make selections from the trolleys that came round at irregular intervals. Unfortunately there was a communication problem and when asked what any of the dishes were we were given simple, one word answers that were either pork (pok), or chicken or prawn . Perhaps cards could be placed next to each stack of steamers to describe the contents particularly if staff have difficulty with English. The food itself varied from very good to ordinary. The steamed dumplings were mainly very good but others fell below expectations. One dish was particularly confusing. We were told the pastry dish on offer were chicken . What we received were sweet pastries wrapped around a very dark meat that obviously wasn 't chicken. The flavours clashed. On the subject of flavours, it would have been appreciated if the condiments weren 't so sparse. A tiny bowl of vinegar (that 's what was written on the squeeze bottle from which the liquid was dispensed) and an equally small bowl of chilli oil was far from adequate. Price wise I have no complaints but there are definitely a few issues that I have mentioned that could do with some attention.
