First our food and our direct server were good. However, we walked in with a reservation, stood in the doorway for quite a while before anyone acknowledged us.... Finally, someone cooking said that they would be with us shortly. A server came forward, we said we had a reservation, and we were shown that there were no available tables and our reservation had not been considered because they “didn’t have an iPad.” I am not sure what an iPad has to do with it, but luckily a couple was leaving. We said we would wait outside as to not rush the finishing couple and the server said she would come get us once the table was cleared. She never came to get us. We went back inside where an entirely different server finally sat us. The table was dirty, my wife’s cloth napkin was wet, and there were an unacceptable amount of flies hovering around. Upon leaving I was offered a “shot” (well, it was more or less shouted at me) by a guy at the bar. He must have been a regular patron because it seemed like most of the waitstaff was more interested in he and his friend, than to deal with the dining customers. I don’t want to come across as harsh, but we ate here last year and it was top notch. It was so good that we we’re excited to come back. However, the overall experience this time was very disappointing.
