I truely would have been much more satisfied at my local fish and chips shop. We paid about $300 for food that didn’t satisfy. It was too expensive, very small... It was too expensive, very small portions, over cooked, and the salad is literally a bunch of lettuce with one tomato...wedge, and there is less than a handful of chips. There’s nothing more disappointing than spending a lot of money on food that isn’t appetising. I think Paul’s should reconsider their menu/portions or chef. This is an absolute rip off. The staff were lovely, but unfortunately, that doesn’t compensate for the bad food.

Weiterlesen Holdfast Shores is like the Docklands of Melbourne. Looks great, beautiful location, but for some reason it doesn't seem to pull in a tone of visitors. There are some gem restaurants however, and Oyster Bar is definitely one of them. The food was spectacular, priced on point, and the service friendly and helpful. Perfect for a sunny day of grazing on the kind of food you only get on special occasions, and a bottle of wine. If you love seafood you definitely won't be disappointed!
