Weiterlesen I feel Brighton is a very good value for the price and it is a great place for kids to learn to ski. Normally my rating would be a 10 but I had the absolute worst experience getting there on Saturday March 11th. It took us four hours to get there from Sandy. On a normal day it would be a 40 minute drive from our home. We left our house at 7 AM which is two hours before the resort opens. It took us four hours to step foot on the resort. The worst part is the parking lot was full so we had to park down the street and walk for one hour. With two little kids that’s ridiculous. I know Brighton cannot expand its parking lot, but there are things you could do like sell each parking stall, so somebody knows whether or not they can park a car before they even attempt to go up the canyon.Luckily, the wait time for the chairlift was very short, and we were able to get a lot of runs in which made up for the time wasted. The best part was Brighton had employees making sure each chairlift was completely full with guests, which made the wait times very short. I was really happy to see that. In the past it’s every person for themselves, and most chair lifts are never completely full and the lines are long.
