Weiterlesen We are new to the area and like to find local places to eat rather than touristy or chain places. The Breakfast House is a small diner type restaurant with a limited menu. My husband and I had eggs and hash browns. The food tasted okay, but I thought there was an excessive use of butter and oil. My husband liked it...me not so much. We both had digestive issues later in the day. I honestly don 't know if it was from the food (hash browns were rich but I don 't think we will be going back. The locals in there included a sheriff who seemed to be a regular so I don 't want to bad mouth the place. Just giving you my impression.

We had a happy meal with the grandchild and just when she finished her McNuggets, the manager brought out an ice cone for the baby. What a nice gesture. This is one of the reasons why we often use these McDonalds. GREAT customer service.

You have to wait for a table, but trust me, it's worth it! And they have burgers and chicken ornaments for your foot-and-sweet food! Had the owner and he had such great things to say about his staff. Love this boss! Would highly recommend and will be back.

BUT, if you can make it to Nawab on Wednesday night for the vegan buffet, you are for a treat. There are 8-10 dishes to choose from and they are all good. Some of the dishes are things I have never noticed on the menu of an Indian restaurant and I have eaten in a few. The ladies' room is clean and well equipped. The buffet is about $20. HC doesn't let Nawab give me a five-star rating because it's not quite vegan or vegetarian, but know that the buffet is a five-star affair.

We were never asked how we wanted the beef cooked, so I probably shouldn’t have been surprised when it came out well done and very tough. We shared a dessert (cheesecake) which was delicious, but after one appetizer, 1/2 dessert and 3 glasses of wine my bill alone was almost $80 .

The food was delicious; one of the best meals we ever had in a restaurant. They change their menus every week. We had groupers and it was fantastic. The winery was very generous. Our server was very personal, knowledgeable, attentive and had a great sense of humor. (Ask Sean is your server! The place is casual, so no need to dress up to go. If in the area, we recommend Brent's for a special meal! It's not far from Wrightsville, just over the bridge on the Wilmington side.
