Weiterlesen The menu for Restaurant Week was very nice as the selection was curated off the menu giving you a true sense of the food served on a regular basis. The food was pleasing to the senses and the service was attentive and excellent. An open kitchen was not as noisy as some and the noise level near the kitchen was quite reasonable and you could hear people talking to each other at the table. Will visit again.

Weiterlesen Wir waren mit 15 Personen hier. Ich hatte ein Rumpsteak bestellt. Nach etwa 20 bis 30 Minuten hatten alle ihr Essen, außer mir. Ich fragte nach, wo mein Gericht blieb. Schließlich stellte sich heraus, dass sie es vergessen hatten und jetzt, während alle bereits aßen, ein neues Rumpsteak zubereiten mussten. Als alle fertig waren, bekam ich mein Rumpsteak, das auch sehr gut war. Mein Nachbar hatte einen Burger bestellt. Nach ein paar Bissen stellte er fest, dass der Burger innen ganz roh war. Deshalb ließ er ihn stehen. Auf Nachfrage seitens der Bedienung bekam er dann ein kleines Rumpsteak, das auch in Ordnung war. Nach dem Abendessen bestellte ich einen weiteren Cuba Libre. Der war überhaupt nicht gut. Die Limetten waren nicht zerdrückt, ich schmeckte nichts von braunem Zucker und es war zu viel Rum darin. Normalerweise habe ich nichts gegen einen etwas stärkeren Cocktail, aber das war einfach ungenießbar. Ich werde so schnell nicht wiederkommen. Leider waren das ein bisschen zu viele Fehler auf einmal.

Weiterlesen A fun place for a Sunday brunch ... bottomless brunch drinks lend to conviviality and the food has interesting takes on a lot of classic items. Service was fast and friendly. And the great proximity to Penn Station makes it a perfect spot to lounge away your last few hours in New York before jumping on a train. Plus, they have an actual baggage holding area so that you're not crammed into your seats with suitcases surrounding you. Nice touch!

I can hardly contain my excitement for my coming return.

I'd be doing an injustice to every item on the menu by recommending just a few, but The Rice Cracker Crusted Tuna starter is my personal favorite. Make sure to leave room for the excellent desserts or cheese. A good and reasonably priced wine selection from the Old and New Worlds combines with some nifty cocktail and liquor magic behind the bar. Comfortable and modern decor, with subdued lighting for dinner gives a nice feeling of space at your table. The service is always friendly and relaxed, while perfectly attentive. And so it was on this visit and, I expect, will be on the next.
