27.07.2023 - 13:45Our family of 6 had a great meal at Punjabi Hut. The service was very prompt and friendly and the food absolutely delicious. We thought the prices were very reasonable. The 6 of us ate for $85 and left very full and content. The kids loved the butter chicken. My favourite was the lamb rogan josh. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

06.04.2023 - 08:12$15 Burger, Chips and Beverages Deal on Thursday a big find. Veggie Burger a bit greasy, but a Rosti is a nice variation to sometimes stony Veggie Burger. Also beautiful place, outdoor area and seating for groups on the upper floor. Food for a casual bite or drink. The staff could have been more friendly... Sad faces at the bar lol

22.12.2022 - 07:50Friendly staff, however food could be improved. Couldn 't taste the slightest hint of the aged cheese that is allegedly part of the potato croquettes. These were quite bland and but were saved by the spicy chutney accompanying them. The lamb skewers were hideously overpriced at $30. That 's $10 per skewer and they 're very small. I get that this is a tapas place, however the skewers are from the For the Table section of the menu and thus you would expect a larger serve, especially at that price. The roasted carrots did not appear (or taste) roasted at all. They were chopped quite small and looked to have been parboiled/steamed and then maybe pan fried. Would explain why they came out so fast. The Tiramisu was the saving grace absolutely delicious! This place has a lot of potential, hopefully they take note of where improvements are needed.

21.12.2022 - 05:21Has improved exponentially. I have visited 'the deck' frequently last year, especially because of the excellent situation. in the last six months I have noticed an overwhelming positive change, not only in food quality (and coffee,)! but also in personal. the new management shows innovation, the potential of the deck, and is constantly trying to lift the standard of what was previously a fairly mediocre restaurant. this is a place I would like to bring visitors to canberra now!

03.12.2022 - 14:13Wonderful wood fired pizzas! The base is deliciously thin but with a crust that is puffy. Ingredients are all fresh and have a great mix of pizza options. No pineapples allowed :

27.11.2022 - 23:02We had the most fabulous meal at Darbar last night. The menu is extensive, offering all the usuals but with so many other dishes we’d never seen before they all sounded so good that it was difficult to choose. However everything we had was...amazing. Some really good spices and flavours and the servings were generous. Will definitely be going back here! We had Chicken 65, fried chillis, lamb shanks, goat curry, palak paneer.
