Weiterlesen Went for Sunday Lunch,bot staff behind bar were on their mobile phones and had to ait for them to stop texting.As I had never had a carvery before decided to have one.Refused first serving of pork as it was dry and just bits.No roast potatoes,peas like bullets and you could play tiddlywinks with carrots.At one o'clock on a Sunday the pub had the atmosphere of a morgue.If the owners are going to venture into the Sunday Carvery market,they are going to do much better.When I left both staff glued to their phones,really appalling customer service.

Weiterlesen As I used to live in Pinchbeck and often visited as I was in Spalding I thought I would have lunch first mistake.How a place can deteriorate so fast is beyond me,Firstly the ordering system is very slow and cumbersome. After I ordered I got a drink and the woman on the checkout was the most miserable I have ever seen no please or thank-you.I ordered the roast of the day and when my meal arrived it consisted of 2 dry processed slices of beef ,3 insipid roast potatoes and a pile of something I think that was passing for mashed potatoes which had the texture and appearance of watery porridge.On top of this was an anaemic Yorkshire pudding that had the texture of rubber.Overall a very disappointing experience in a restaurant that was grubby and devoid of any atmosphere. Sort it out Morrisons.
