Weiterlesen First, the good and the disclaimer: I have never had Anything that tasted bad from this restaurant and I have never eaten in house (always carry out). The pizza consistently has a nice soft bubbly crust if that is what you are in to. The less good: forthe price, the carry out value of their food is mediocre in my opinion and this is based on multiple experiences. Their 10dollar Monday pizza deal measures about 8” and is essentially a personal pizza, not a small. I attach a picture of what theycharge $9 for as a Caesar salad. It is the equivalent of a side salad at best and was honestly a few mouth fulls. Like I said,everything tasted fine. But the food i have tried did not meet the exceptional level that I am apt to rave about.

For dessert the red velvet cake sealed the deal good and moist. Ohyeah they are very generous with the portions and the prices are reasonable. When I want some soul and don't feel like cooking Iknow just where to go. Forever Family Soul

Weiterlesen My wife and I were in town and on the recommendation of a friend we came to GDC. The atmosphere was of a cool old store with the wood floors and cool deco. We started with the Pork and Asian veggie egg rolls and the Tonkatsu pork. Both apps were good butthey weren't hot when they came out so that didn't help the fact that they were kind of bland. Salads came with both our mealsand I got the champagne vinaigrette dressing that was delicious. for the main course my wife got the Shrimp scampi, she saidthat the grits were dry and could have used a little sauce or just made better. I had the Kevin's beef medallions which were ok,the beef wasn't as tender as others I have had and they definitely needed some salt. Now for the amazing part of the meal...thedesserts. On our servers recommendation we got the tart and crème brule. The tart was out of this world, probably in the top 5desserts we have ever had. It had a delicious cream layer that they make in house and the sauce was nothing like we have everhad. The crème brule was delicious but the sugar was torched a little to long and it was a little bitter. I still enjoyed itthough. We feel that the main meal was a 3 star but with some small changes could definitely make it 4+ but the desserts pushedus into the 4 star range. The staff was very friendly, the kitchen staff was constantly going in and out of the door we sat nextto but they did ask about our meal and experience. We would go back when we are in town again.
