Weiterlesen We had a family gathering at Easter (Sunday) and decided on Yum Cha, it has been some years since we had eaten at the Marigold, so on past experience and reputation we went there. NEVER AGAIN. We booked, but we shouldn't have, as they accepted everyone, all queued, our noon booking became a 12.50pm booking. We were shown to a table that wasn't ready and was filled with the detritus of the previous diners. It took ten minutes and pleas to three managers including the owner to get it done. Then in bad humour it was. Then the food, another ten minutes or more went by and more begging' for some service from passing staff, no one cared or replied. Eventually I walked over to a lady with the dumpling cart and told her to come to our table, about five minutes later that happened. And that is the way the meal went, the selection we were offered was small as the number of carts coming our way wasn't much. We had to grab the passing trolley as not one staff member offered us food from their cart. Getting our tea pot refilled (twice) was a torture each time. Was the food better than the other six Yum Cha places we go, NO. Bye Bye Marigold, may you rest in peace!

Die Atmosphäre hier ebenfalls super, die Getränke sind sowas von lecker und die Preise sind in Ordnung. Ein Geldautomat ist auch gleich um die Ecke, da keine Zahlung per Karte möglich ist. Kann die Bar nur jedem empfehlen!!

It took close to one hour for the food to arrive and some people had to leave as they could not wait any longer. May be if not all food was ready, something could have been served before the rest. This does not change my love for the place but many were visiting for the first time.

Weiterlesen Only appalled by the way in which the standards have fallen since the acceptance of the new owners. they continue to give them chance, but they get almost every order wrong. the coffee is now almost inconceivable when they make the right one. they burn the coffee and it tastes like dirty water. my colleagues and I were sometimes more than once a day customers. the menu might have stayed the same, but eating is not up to the standard it was earlier. very disappointed and will store my food and coffee elsewhere.
