The staff was friendly but could not really speak any English. Service was average: Wine bottle was opened before bringing it to the table and the wine cooler (for white wine) was only brought when asked. The duck breast I ordered was not cooked at the moment, it was somehow precooked and warmed up. Anyway they never asked me if I want it rare, medium or well-done.

Young and enthusiastic owner, he gave us several explanations about the fish in the islands. We tried to come here a second time but there was a private event so we 'll need to wait for the next trip to Azores. Only the dessert was not that convincing (ice-cream). However we had here for sure the very best tuna fish ever.

Long version: We ordered Baghali polo and Zereshk polo which are two of the most basic dishes that almost all Iranian restaurants have. The food came in time but it was very cold. The rice used for polo (pilav) was basmati rice which is not what you would expect for an Iranian food (But they mentioned it in the menu, so I give it to them). However, the quality of cooking was just bad and it was probably the driest and most tasteless rice that I've ever tried. The Zereshk polo was just awful. The chicken, was just boiled in water which is not how the chicken in Zereshkpolo is cooked. In addition, it was extremely cold even in the center, making me think that the chicken was not cooked today. The Baghali polo was even worse, having totally green (uncooked) and hard to chew baghali (Broad bean) in it. Overall, my only suggestion is to look for somewhere else for Iranian food, otherwise you would hate it and will never try it again.

Weiterlesen We stopped here for dinner while we went to the east side gallery. we have a table outside that was beautiful, as it was a nice hot day. we all ordered pizzas and enjoyed them. good selection, good toppings and beautiful portion size. was not too expensive, about 10-11 euro for a pizza I think and we were all too full for dessert, although they sound good! service was really good to begin, the woman was very friendly, although it felt a little forced when she asked us to move tables to what seemed to be a group of her friends, we felt the atmosphere and their tone change that strengthened this. it was not bad enough to recommend us from the return or others for a nice, relaxed meal in this area of the city.
