Our booking was for 1515 we arrived at 1510 and were seated and served pots of tea and cocktails. The food arrived at 1550. This was a very long time to wait! Would have preferred a few more savoury dishes and not as many sweet. Maybe a cheese scone or sausage roll. Service was great.

The atmosphere along with the afternoon tea was really good. We cannot recommend Bartley Lodge Hotel highly enough and we will return.

Weiterlesen I booked a table for 2 to celebrate my friend's birthday and requested,if possible, a small token on the table for the occasion. I was quite disappointed to see that the table next to us received a Happy Birthday chocolate and my friend didn't. The food was okay and not enough o fit. We chose to have a glass of bubbly each so the lunch worked out to be very expensive for what it was. The staff and service weren't worth the included service charge as the waiters weren't that visible and we had to call a couple of times.
