Weiterlesen We went to the recommendation of a friend who said this was her favorite spot for fish chips. It wasn't disappointed. We ordered the fish specialist, the good part of the fish was hot and the bread was thin and crispy. The Pommes were what I had chip cars the best I had in years. The meal came with a large bowl of awesome Coleslaw and also came with pop or coffee. The meal was quickly served by a super friendly young Chinese girl who, when she noticed that my wife's coffee was too strong, immediately brought new coffee for both of us. Besides, the whole meal came to over $20. For ambience and good food Jacks is one of the best in Peterborough, but what this restaurant lacks in the area makes it by serving the best fish and chips in the city at a reasonable price. If you didn't try, you don't know what you missed.

Owner is always kind and welcoming to customers. Do not be fooled by the Daybreak on Dundas iin east Whitby. Owner can be heard yelling and berating staff constantly. Breakfast is sometimes cooked as requested, and clearly he does not think about the customer's enjoyment.
