Friendly service that reminds you of an old Amsterdam brown bar.... plenty of beer and drink options on the menu and good food. We had the Brussels Sprouts with our drinks. Superb. Wish we lived in Chicago so we go back sooner!

Weiterlesen I wanted to try her restaurant weekly menu back a few weekends and was really excited about it. We came in and sat at the overflow cocktail tables in the blue violet. Our server gave us both menus and went on to say that a menu was 't served upstairs - not sure why it even gave it to us. That immediately killed the mood, even eating there. I asked if we could wait for a table that opened down, and she said there was no room. Not sure why you book yourself and then dinner up on wobbly bar stools and tables. We couldn't feel comfortable enough to dinate, so we gave up this idea and had only one drink. The server recommended a celery-based drink and it was terrible! Super bitter and simply not smooth at all, she was friendly enough to swap it out for the Cloud Nine and definitely prepared for it! Overall, they only wished that they had 't booked over the dinning down or at least had as waiting for a table, as we would like.
