27.10.2023 - 19:51Yo. Where my vegans at?! So, this place has its upside, for sure. The outdoor space is rad, it caters to the vegetarians and vegans among us, the food and drinks are good. But we had reservations for 2pm and weren 't sat until nearly 3pm. It felt like a Seinfeld moment: you know how to *take* a reservation, but you don 't know how to *hold* a reservation, and holding is really the most important part. Anyone can just *take* a reservation... They were unconcerned about the wait and tried to make themselves scarce so we couldn 't ask them for updates. If I hadn 't been there with a group who wanted to stay, I would 've left. I have an almond allergy, and a lot of plant based cheeses are made with nuts, or they sneak them in in other ways, so that 's a bit of a downer. I don 't like cilantro, and in RI, Mexican food essentially means add cilantro and tequila. I think the food we got was good but not memorable, and the drinks were fine but not great. It was an experience that did not merit a return. There are few places like it, however, and I think it 's worth a visit. I just don 't think it 's all it 's hyped up to be.
