I went for happy hour with a group of coworkers but realized upon arrival that happy hour is only designated for the bar so we opted for the dining room where happy hour didn’t apply. I ordered the pesto gnocchi which was okay, the pasta felt too chewy. The best part was the dessert (over the appetizer and entree). Overall: wouldn’t go back. There are better Italian restaurants in the city.

Weiterlesen My mother and I are there during a mother daughter trip to New York, and we were not disappointed. We started with a bottle of wine that was recommended to us, which was very good, full-bodied, smooth and dry, which was exactly what we had requested. My mother ordered the seared scallops as an appetizer, and then the spaghetti as a main, and both were spectacular. I had the polenta with mushroom fricassee and then the angolotti, which were also incredible. I had to restrain myself from licking the plates. We finished off the night with blueberry tart and one of the managers that had stopped to chat with us, surprised us with chocolate cake as well. The blueberry tart was delicious, and the lemon sorbet that came with it was nice and tart. Normally, I do not like chocolate, but their cake was amazing. Moist, and not too sweet. But was really surprising, was how tasty the toffee sauce around the cake was. After looking at the menu after we left I realized it was a banana toffee sauce. I may dislike chocolate, but I hate bananas more than any other food, but this was delicious. Overall, we had an incredible time, and the good was even better. Would definitely go back there again, the next time I'm in New York.

I'm in here every Saturday, find her attitude unpleasant. I've struck her sour manner during the week too. Others with me feel the same. A shame as it brings down the standard of the cafe.

The coleslaw was terrible it smelled like pool water then the waitress said people have been complaining all day. Why would you continue to serve it? She was sweet and apologized she was the only one working. Disappointed to say the least.
