When the food did arrive, what we ordered came over 10 minutes apart. One might sympathise with this, but ,the second...time, also after 2.00, our food arrived, after a long wait, also over 10 minutes apart, and our drinks never arrived. On enquiring twice, the second time we were told (by the owner? that we would have to wait as they were serving larger parties. Restaurant rechristened rude alp for us! To be fair, a waitress took pity on us, gave us our bill and a free double espresso. One sympathises with their short staffedness, but!!!!!!

We were seated very quickly and we ordered our drinks and choice of food. The restaurant has menus in English, if you do not...speak German. My fillet was slightly over cooked, I asked for medium and it was more on the medium well side of temperature. One colleague had the same Fillet ordered medium and his was spot on. So I feel mine was overcooked just by chance, but is the reason I only gave 4 stars. The other two colleagues had different choices and told me they were very good. The restaurant was somewhat expensive with the fillet around €35.00, I think it was 200 grams in weight for the fillet. Located in the city center of Dornbirn, Austria, it is easy to find and plenty to do after you have completed your meal. Small pubs were located all over in the city center to enjoy after eating at 21 Steak and Fish. Enjoy this restaurant while you are visiting Dornbirn.
