Weiterlesen My wife I visited this restaurant during our long weekend stay in Munich in May 2018. I picked this restaurant after reading very good reviews on TA. The restaurant is located quite close to the tmain train station/U Bahn. We arrived there early around 5:30pm on a Sunday. However, there is a park opposite the train station and there was a Sunday Market held inside the park. There was also a bier garden there as well as well as an Oompa band playing. We strolled around the park looking at all the craft and food stalls. But did not buy any food as we were saving our appertitie for Speisen Getranke. At around 6:30pm we arrived at the restaurant. Inside the restaurant the interior is quite traditional Bavarian style od decoration. The walls had wood panelling and the waitress serving us was dressed in typical traditional Bavarian dress. There were tow other customers inside the restaurant both single and appeared to be locals due to the fact that several staff went to chat to them whilst they eating. We were promptly seated and I used my 'basic ' German to ask if the waitress spoke English. To my relief she sais Yes. We then asked for the most popular Goulash they serve. For drinks we chose the local bier that the restaurant stock Maierbrau Altomunster! I have to say all the German Biers that we tasted were so refreshing and so full of flavour! We both oredered the beef goulash with potato dumpling. It wasn 't too long before our goulash arrived. A side of fresh salad was served with the goulashes. The goulash was served nice and hot and the beef quite tender. But the gravy was a bit too salty for our liking. Also we felt the portion size was a little stingy. Other than that it was fine. Afterwards, I ordered the apple strudel with ice cream. That tasted much better as the filo pastry was warm, light and crispy. We finished our meal at around 7:30pm and during the time we were in the restaurant no new customers entered the restaurant. Perhaps it was a Sunday.

Herr Harnik Singh begrüßte uns und erklärte uns die Speisekarte. Wir bestellten vegetarische Gerichte und baten um eine extra würzige Note. Alle Speisen wurden heiß serviert und der Lassi und das Weizenbier passten sehr gut dazu. Das Personal war freundlich und wir loben dieses Restaurant für die indische Küche. The food looked so delicious when it went passed and we were given a free appetiser which was delicious so we decided to stay. We ordered one meal off the menu and we also asked for something that we fancied made from several different meals. They didn't disappoint. Fantastic evening. Thanks guys x
