The staff is attentive, but not overlaid. The food came fast and was absolutely delicious. Vegetables were cooked properly. I prefer mine on the crispy side and delivered them. I didn't try the cocktails, but the bartender made me a perfect tequila gimlite. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a big bite of Italian cuisine.

Auch hier warteten wir an der Theke, aber nach kurzer Zeit bekamen wir den nächsten freien Tisch. Wenn man in das San Marino geht, erwartet man keine Überraschungen... Hier ist die Zeit stehen geblieben... Die Gäste sind entscheidend, ob der Abend schön wird, denn das Essen ist nie wirklich gut oder schlecht, es schmeckt wie in einer Spaß-Pizzeria. So war der Capricciosa-Salat nach Steak und Pizza. Die Steaks sind einfach gut, preiswert und lecker gegrillt. Auch die Gorgonzola-Sauce mag ich sehr gerne... Ich finde, das San Marino hat Kultstatus. Gaetano und seine Familie führen das Restaurant schon so lange, wie ich denken kann. Es ist nicht modernisiert worden, weder die Gerichte, noch das Ambiente, noch das Personal... KEINE EXPERIMENTE... keine ungewöhnlichen Kreationen, einfaches, gutes und schmackhaftes Pizzagericht, freundlicher Service. Der Espresso ist gut, das Kölsch vom Fass auch, es gibt fast immer einen Amaro, Kaffee oder Ähnliches auf Kosten des Hauses.

The server was great, the atmosphere was cozy and the food (tappas) was excellent. I look forward to going there again soon.
