Do not really get the same atmosphere in La Mesa as you in the old town, although they really try to revise it. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurant options in San Diego.

Made an order for breakfast. We have a burger with onion rings and an Italian omelet. The burger was a 7/10, but these onion rings were actually perfect. Honestly, if I had just ordered the onion ring, I would have given 5/5. They were crispy and crispy and not too much bread, and you could still taste the onion in there. 10/10 for the rings. but there was more. The other thing we ordered was the Omelet with potatoes. Nothing wrong with the potatoes, they were seasoned and well cooked 8/10. On the other hand, that Omelet was not beautiful at all... Sausages were dry and seasoned, the cheese under it was gritty and tasteless, the tomato sauce on the egg was strange, and the American cheese to top it was just so out of place. So the egg seemed to be good first. My fist bite was small, tasted like an egg I would cook at home. My second bite was a bit bigger, thought to me, 'that could use some salt and pepper' then I took another bite. *Crunch * I bit in an eggshell... I'm just a 28-year-old man, not the oldest or wisest, but I never have an egg in a restaurant in my life. Surely the place had people in it, but it wasn't the busiest restaurant in the world, or California, or even in Poway. I stabbed on a large piece of egg shell. Instantan was filled with grits. It was almost as if I put the face first on the beach, someone screamed at me!! I'm trying to suck as much sand as possible. The feeling was terrible! If you're ever stuck in eggshells, you know it's hard to get everything out of your mouth. I tried and tried. But for my life, I just couldn't get it out. I washed my mouth with water, but when I came back to finish my potatoes... *CRUNCH CRUNCH* I think I'll get back from the order all egg related from any restaurant because of this. Great disappointment. The toast was pretty good. I'd give him a 2.6/5. So lean on 3/5, that's what I gave
