Weiterlesen We had a party of 6 for breakfast at 10:30 am on Sunday, 11/6/22. Very chill vibes. We were in athletic clothes; others came in their church clothes. There was no wait for a table, but it did take a while for our food to come out. When we ordered, they said there were only 5 biscuits left, but they were open until 3:00, so I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just make more. Luckily, we ordered in time to get the last biscuits. Here’s what I tried: Veggie Omelet $9.95): The omelet was really good! It came packed with veggies. I got it with a biscuit and home fries. The biscuit was buttered perfectly and was sooo delicious. The potatoes were seasoned really well and tasted great, but I wish they were crispy on the outside. Regular Stack of Chocolate Chip Pancakes $7.25 $1.75 for chocolate chips): We got this to share between the 6 of us. They were fine, but I don’t feel the need to get them again. Toucan Louie’s has good food at a reasonable price with large portions.

I have come to checkout at the registers when self checks were closed. The cashier and another associate made me wait while they finished their conversation. Plus they rarely greet you in this store. I went to shop one morning early and their produce wasn't stocked and there was a lot of overripe produce everywhere and fruit flies buzzing around. Not the first time I've noticed this. Oh, and they are the kind of place that doesn't want their employees using the same restrooms as customers. Segregation practices.

They had been sitting in the butter oil sauce for quite some time. I could tell by how translucent they were. I just hope I don't get sick since I ate a handful. This might make me rethink ordering from them again.

We added a fried egg for $1. The ingredients definitely made the bowl, because the grits themselves were very bland?nothing to write home about. Good amount of food though. The french toast special was blueberry french toast. It was very sweet and was definitely not enough for a meal, which is why we we were glad we got the potatoes on the side. The DK scramble on flatbread was delicious. It was a good amount of food, though I would have preferred more eggs in it. I was going to get the quiche special (goat cheese, tomatoes and spinach) for my meal, but we decided to get it for the whole table, and I?m glad we did because it wasn?t a whole quiche! It was maybe 1/4 of a quiche, which was not advertised. For $5, that wasn?t worth it. It was nice that I got a free coffee because I?m a teacher. They offer deals for teachers, police officers, firefighters, and others, so make sure to check out their website. The place itself is cute?wooden tables and chairs, art for sale and cute little decorations. One plus was there was not wait for brunch on a Saturday morning! We were all satisfied with our meals, but because some portions were small, I?m giving it 4 stars.

Very casual you can wear whatever you want.We split appetizers and each got an entree. Here's what we got: Veggie Spring Roll .95 : Very mini! Pan Fried Veggie Pot Stickers 8 for 9.95 : Good! Cool presentation! Sesame Chicken 14.95 : Large portion! Tasty! Mongolian Beef 14.95 2 for beef : Also large portion and also tasty!We appreciated the big portions. We each had enough for a leftover meal. The service was super quick. I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here, but it’s a solid option for the area!
