Weiterlesen I recommend this place to all who prefer small properties with family/friendly feeling as I do. Very tasty local cuisine, clean rooms, friendly and heplful staff and awesome views. This place is not on main route of Via Bocchette but was absolutelly worth visiting, it has strong atmosplere not only because of chapel in the rock. If you are looking for something not so ordinary choose definitelly this place. It was great experience for us and thank to Aldo and Roberta for that.

Weiterlesen Il rifugio Larezila è davvero un pezzo di Storia, costruito all’iniziale ‘900 quando il territorio faceva ancora parte dell’impero Austro-Ungarico dagli avi dell’attuale simpaticissimo proprietario Angelo. Bello fuori, spettacolare dentro, con tanti cimeli storici ognuno riportante una descrizione e, a richiesta, Angelo (tempo a disposizione permettendo) ne racconta la personalissima storia. La divisa austriaca del nonno, il mantello di Cesare Battisti, la comoda del principe d’Austria e tanto altro. Ma ovviamente non è un museo, ma un rifugio e si mangia divinamente. Piatti della tradizione ladina, vari tipi di salumi, formaggi, canederli e, ovviamente, la polenta, abbinata a formaggio fuso, salsiccia, cacciagione e altro. Situato in una conca a fianco di una strada sterrata è raggiungibile abbastanza comodamente sia da valle che dal passo Lusia. A me personalmente piace molto la passeggiata che dall’arrivo della funivia a Valbona arriva al rifugio. Un percorso breve e facile molto piacevole in mezzo al bosco. Per concludere il suddetto Angelo è anche un buon scrittore e consiglio l’acquisto di uno dei suoi libri in cui racconta se stesso, la vita in rifugio e la storia di queste valli. Larezila merita veramente una visita e non di passaggio.
