Weiterlesen Have been eating here since 2018 up to pandemic. First time back today, 7/12/22. Food was very good but restaurant needs a cleaning, from the dining room, to the kitchen, to the bathroom. Cans of bug spray by stove and microwave is a no go. Tables arenot clean and owner or male manager is rude. 1 person in my party asked about adding guacamole to a dish and when asked, the guysaid look at the menu. If this is the same owner from 2018, no wonder they struggle. If it's a new owner, you won't make it. Iwill NEVER be back and won't recommend to friends. Terrible customer service. Had to ask for napkins and silverware. HealthDepartment needs to look at this place.

A couple of recommendations are to clean those sticky, crusty top salt pepper shakers, clean around the hot bar food pans, and provide some plastic aprons or something for Tommy. His clothes, I guess from working in the back, are always filthy. Definitely a turn-off when seeing this. Makes you think everything else is filthy. Love this place.

Food presentation and aromas are alluring with great herbs and spices of tender meat and vegetables. That rum cake and famous Helena's mango bread is like no other, and don't forget your island beverage.. The warmth and welcoming from the women is a feeling of home. A 5-star rating is not enough. I was not disappointed and will return often. Thanks Augustine.

They bring in the cultural elements of some dishes. The cook makes it all happen and I appreciate that he has remained a constant. The food is always consistent, plentiful, and delicious.
