Weiterlesen There is a theme here with the lowest scores! The state of customer service is overwhelmingly poor. Staff behind the counter are rude, ungrateful and seem very put out with customers in general. I’ve experienced this during three visits; including today’s. I’ve observed other customers receive the same. I was hopeful today—that we’d receive eye contact, a smile, a “may I help you”, advice when asked about a product noted on the website but not stocked at the counter; but nothing folks, none of the above. We will definitely pursue other options for our fresh seafood treats. Disappointed owner/leaders not responsive to the negative feedback; sometimes a warm body is simply not enough. Either invest in their customer service training or “fish and cut bait”!

Weiterlesen Florentine is a classic. The food is decent (street) too excellent (cheese cake). The ambience has not changed for more than 20 years. My son and I took my parents for my birthday. We started with the Italian Sampler Appetizer, consisting of fried ravioli, provolone sticks and boneless wings (a last minute replacement for mushroom caps they were made). We enjoyed all three. My mother got manicotti with meat sauce while I had the manicotti with Marinara. My father had the meat lasagna, and my son had the sausage. We were all happy with our ducks. For dessert, my son and I had cheesecake, my with raspberry sauce and his with peaches. The slices were huge, homemade and delicious. We both took about half of us home. My mother got the Cannoli (served in a couple). She also enjoyed her and she took one home. Our service was great, but we were there on a slow Wednesday night with only a couple when we were there. There was a big group coming halfway through our meal. It was clear they had a reservation. Overall, Florentine offers consistent American comfort food versions of Italian dishes in classic retro atmosphere.

Why haven 't we visited this restaurant more often? What a Gem. Homemade, authentic Italian cuisine. We were originally in Walker and tried to dine at Alfano 's. Waited for a hostess for 10 minutes and no one came to the desk. We decided to go to the bar instead. We sat down and as the waitress was walking by, said it 's going to be 10 minutes before somone can get back to you and kept walking. No hello, no apology for the wait. Needless to say, I couldn 't get out of my chair to leave fast enough. We decided to go across town to Florentine 's. We were greeteed promplty by a very escstatic older woman (Owner? and she sat us immediately. Our waitress (Abigaile greeted us within a few minutes and ran the specials by us. Our food was prepared promptly and the service was tremendous. Needless to say that we will be making this our goto for Italian food from now on. A highly recommended place to eat, for great service, great value and great staff.

Weiterlesen Yesterday, when I visited Elegance of the seasons, I was simply blown away from the charm and uniqueness of this facility. At first my mother and I were greeted by the super friendly mother and daughter team, who looked after us very attentively. They had brought out their spearmint iced tea that was only idyllic, then the best part came shortly after, THE FOOD! The food was just amazing. So a simple salad and sandwich tasted magical and tasty, and the best part is that it uses locally produced organic products! After our meal we shared the Zucchini Muffin was so perfect and scrumptious we took 5 to go! Everything about this place is just so perfect, from homemade iced teas, to food made with care of love. You must definitely pass and check Elegance of the Seasons if you don't already, you won't regret!
