Weiterlesen I usually come here at least once when in Vienna, as they offer several typical and yet original options, all at a fair price. As it was S. Patrick’s day, I had booked in advance a table to be sure we could eat there. When we arrived there wasn’t any reserved table for us, but we were told by a polite waiter we could wait 5 minutes at the bar counter, until a table would become free. Some time later we were taken to a small arranged table just attached to the counter, with the same bar stools, which were really uncomfortable to me, no light and just centimeters away from other guess occasionally arriving to drink at the bar counter. As it was the only table in the room like that and a ‘normal’ table became available seconds after, I asked another waiter if we could switch tables, as it was a bit uncomfortable to sit there. The answer was no. I asked why and he didn’t know what to say, then he told me he had to reserve that table to other guests and to ask someone else, that was really unfriendly. Well, I had reserved just to finally be seated at the bar… nothing major, but if I wanted to drink at a counter I would have gone somewhereelse. The food was ok, but there was hardly light to see anything. Sadly it was an uncomfortable night, I hope it will go better next time.
