Weiterlesen We arrived in Fairbanks on the train from Anchorage and most of the restaurants in town were closed. We like trying Chinese in really out of the way places, and so decided to try Lin’s. We’re very glad we did. The atmosphere is great. A lot of money was spent doing the interior at some point, which was very clean, and they play 1940s music which was very different for a Chinese restaurant and we loved. Service was quick and friendly. Our entrees came with a lot of vegetables, which isn’t the norm, and they were firm and not over cooked or steamed — also not the norm. I’ve been to China multiple times, and eaten in a ton of different Chinese restaurants outside of China. Granted, this was still Chinese-American food, but it was really really good Chinese-American food. Factor in that Fairbanks is in the middle of Alaska, and we were impressed.

While they are short staffed, they served us with a smile and great attitude! It seems all restaurants are short staffed these days, so we sure don't hold this against them. Their reindeer sausage and sourdough pancakes were delicious! My husband was also thrilled to find grits on their huge menu and they were also very good. If we lived in Fairbanks, we would go here often. Highly recommend the food, and hopefully they will be able to higher more staff soon.

Weiterlesen When we visited Toutoune, the waitress was very brutal and involuntary from the outset to inquire about other vegan options beyond the very limited selected choice (bread with hummus or salad), at some point in time becomes actually rude. The falafels are also vegan, so you can get them with hummus and simple, normal bread. This place was the worst experience in Switzerland after 4 weeks travel.

Weiterlesen A group of us had the $14.95 cooking speciality all they can eat buffet. it's not a buffet. they are tellers that are brought out to eat family style; the tellers are the cook selections. we had pork pliersloin, maultier enchiladas, tequilas, chickensfajitas, fried garnelen, chicken quesadillas made on pita brot and I am sure more. dessert was chocolate cake. it was delicious. we kind of rolled out. it is an excellent value and a lot of fun. nothing was not good. just posting the cake pick, how eating has humans and I don't want to hurt the private sphere. go for it, you won't regret it.
