Weiterlesen I'd love to eat at Nic's more often but for some reason I'm always passing it when I've already eaten. Even though I'd just devoured a burger, I knew that I'd regret not stopping in to grab a couple of donuts so in I ventured. This Nic's is the bigger of the two (the original one being next to St Enoch) and has quite a bit of seating. I imagine it gets very busy at lunch time but later in the afternoon it was very quiet but there was still a good selection of donuts on display. The staff were able to tell me exactly what was in each donut (as I wanted one without cream) and I eventually opted for an apple caramel donut and a Terry's chocolate orange one. At £1.49 each they are a pretty decent price for a sweet pick me up and they also offer a discount if you're buying in multiples of 6. So how was the donut? Light, fluffy and sweet, just like a donut should be. I liked how there was dots of filling in it (even though it was ring donut) and overall it wasn't sickly sweet like some donuts can be. But Nic's doesn't just do donuts they also have a great menu for lunch including hot dogs, panini, baked potatoes, bagels, taco bowls and nachos.
