The restaurant was very busy when I arrived. There were several customers waiting for their orders inside and a very long line in the drive-thru. The staff were diligently working on filling each customer's order as quickly as possible. There were only 4 staff members on duty. Although they were obviously short-handed, which caused orders to back-up, each guest was pleasantly greeted. The staff double checked each order to ensure it was correct and offered each guest a genuine apology for the extended wait time. The whole crew worked together, remained kind to each other and their guests. The manager and owners should be very proud of their crew.
As a previous employee of KFC, I can tell you that this dark spot on the top of the mashed potatoes and gravy is from being burnt where it was set in the warming area and left there for too long. I would include a picture of my chicken tenders but I had to cook them in my air fryer because they were not done when I got them. I will say the coleslaw was good and at least they remembered to straw this time. would have been nice if they could have remembered the butter for the biscuit or the napkins. they took so long making the order. there's no reason my chicken tenders weren't done or fresh. thankfully my driver Fabio who is amazing made sure I knew that it was taking longer.
They were out of nuggets and mac and cheese, so they offered tenders instead for our bowls. However, they ended up not including the tenders at all. My Spicy Mac Cheese Bowl was basically just fries, and my Famous Bowl was nothing more than a mediocre option.
I really enjoy the homemade taste of KFC! It's definitely a delicious way to brighten up your day.
