Restaurant bewertenCalled in for the first time in a while and such a wonderful surprise. Love all the products and all the surprises offered for a healthy lifestyle and to help create better health.Decided to stop and pick up something to take home for lunch. So much to choose from and on the day I was there the place was full and everyone enjoying their lunch. I chose a frittata and as busy as the staff were they did their very best to keep everyone happy and off I went quite quickly with my boxed lunch. Which was so tasty. I'm going again today, taking my daughter who is visiting to have the wonderful Kunara experience. And to try a little treat from the cafe. Huge thank you to all the staff and whoever makes the food, it's made with so much love.
I usually go to Kunara more for a study of psychology rather than the food, to be completely honest. Putting stereotypes to one side, there are few things more intriguing than to watch people churn through a high priced cafe in the middle of a week day (ie work day) in semi-hippy/alternative gear. But I digress. Kunara cafe has always been high priced, with more misses than hits, and mixed staff attitudes, ranging from friendly to disinterested, snarly, rude or anything inbetween. Coffees are small. Their mug is only cup-sized, and more often than not it is warm rather than hot. On my last visit I ordered a fruit juice with my coffee. I waited and waited and waited and waited. When it was time to leave I asked a waitress when I might be receiving my fruit juice. She looked surprised and then ran off to ask. She came back to me and told me I should have collected it from the fridge myself... Oh, all good, I guess, but shame the cashier didn't inform me. When I go to the fridge the juice combo I ordered wasn't even there. It was all too hard to go through another explanatory session with the staff so I just grabbed another and left.
Absolutely disgusted with the lack of service at this cafe that I often frequent.
This seems a new addition to the Nundah scene, and they're big on all your organic, vegan delights, if that's your thing.
Smoothies were amazing and the service was lovely- happy to direct me to a store I was looking for.
