Samuel's Rest - Winchester

Friendly staff, good food (including a surprising number of vegetarian options, including this beet goat cheese burger), and the place filled up with musicians and Irish dancing. Loved it.

Stayed local and fancied a better choice of items to have for dinner. did some research and found this pub. so glad we did , prices are about right for the area. great choice huge meals you will not leave hungry very friendly owners well worth a visit

First impression was not great.. Ate in the bar area next to the lav.. Food was beyond my expectations. Had a baguette, this thing was absolutely loaded with a generous helping of fries on the side. Would definitely go again.. Recommended

Excellent meal, a had a kiddies/lighter meal. It was huge! Very nice and definitely good value. Nice old fashioned friendly pub. Definitely recommend

Warm welcome. Good beer selection, we had the dry neck Nice menu, lots of choice. We both had the beef lasagne, it was delicious and came with lots of salad. Very generous portion
