Michelli's Pizzeria - West Melbourne

I ended up tasting a piece of pizza given to me by my son, and after one bite, I couldn't swallow it and had to spit it out on my plate. At that moment, my son was on the phone with a girl who happened to be speaking with the owner/manager. She mentioned that we were regular customers and offered to give us a free pizza, which would have been nice if they could deliver it that night since we hadn't had dinner. However, now we're left hoping our next pizza will be decent on another occasion, but I’m not sure it’s worth the risk. I told my son that the restaurant has changed since COVID; what used to be a place for good pizza is no longer the same. Ironically, other restaurants that were not as good as Michelle's a few years ago are now better. We've decided to stop going to Michelle's, and I think my son will agree with me next time.

I had an amazing meatball parmigiana hot sub! While we waited for our food, we were also treated to complimentary drinks. Service-wise, it was a takeout experience for lunch, with prices ranging from $10 to $20 per person. I’d rate the food a solid 5 out of 5 and the service the same. The atmosphere was decent, scoring a 3. I highly recommend trying the meatball dish!

Used to be the best around the area but some bad changes happened over a year ago now in their processes. Good quality ingredients and unlike most, usually enough cheese and sauce. Unfortunately they just always undercook the pizza, very doughy in the middle and usually wet with too much liquid from the sauce, too watery. Not sure if its just under cooked or watery sauce or a little of both. Also, when this started happening the crust where it is cooked more around the outside is tough and chewy and the sauce lacks flavor. Too bad, we kept trying multiple times but this is consistently what you get for over a year now. May be a poor management decision to try and deal with their overwhelming demand and lack of staff with crazy long delivery and even pickup times. Prices are much higher compared to others too, which we didn't mind back when the sauce was thicker with flavor and the pizzas got cooked all the way. Hopefully the owner will actually address this for real. If they do, we'll try again as it really used to be much better than the other places here.

Pizza is awesome. Cheese bread fantastic. Meatball and mushroom pizza was a hit. Found my new favorite and I’m a pizza snob. Highly recommend!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
